Faith and evidence
'God and the New Atheists' #02
What's in the series? Previous: No need for God? Next: Non-arguments from the New Atheists
'Evidence by definition can't support faith. If you need evidence to support your religious beliefs, it isn't faith,' wrote one New Atheist recently. In this video Michael Poole talks about the claim that faith can't have evidence. Michael is the author of 'The New Atheism: ten arguments that don't hold water,' responding to the claims of authors such as Richard Dawkins and Daniel Dennett. He is also visiting research fellow in Science and Religion at King's College London.
