For many people, when they read the accounts of Jesus’s birth in the Bible, their first reaction may be how strange they are.

It can be difficult to understand the accounts of Jesus's birth. One reason for this is that we look at them on their own. They make much more sense when we link them with the bigger story of Jesus's life: with his teaching and miracles, his death on the cross, and his rising from the dead.

If God was at work in Jesus's life, it makes more sense that he was also at work in his birth.
