In these clips from the 'God: new evidence' series, John Polkinghorne talks about evidence of God from recent scientific discoveries involving cosmic fine tuning. Revd Dr. John Polkinghorne KBE FRS was Professor of Mathematical Physics at Cambridge University. He resigned from this position to study for the Church of England ministry. After five years in parish ministry, he returned to Cambridge, where in 1989 he became President of Queens’ College. Dr. Polkinghorne retired in 1996.

He has written over thirty books which have been translated into eighteen languages. Dr. Polkinghorne’s most recent work is ‘Questions of Truth,’ with Nicholas Beale.
