The Choices We Make

Part 10 of 'The Biggest Question: why does God allow suffering?'

What's in the series?      Previous: A Greater Good      Next: God and Natural Disasters

The Bible says that God has given us the ability to make moral choices (free will). Most of us would say that being able to choose is an important good thing. The trouble is that we often choose to do evil, and to rebel against God. (The Bible calls this 'sin.') And most of the suffering in the world is a result of wrong human choices – of our decisions to hurt and harm each other. Part 10 of 'The Biggest Question: why does God allow suffering?' Introduced by BBC TV Songs of Praise presenter Diane Louise Jordan, with Eric Gaudion, Nick Barr-Hamilton and Hilary McDowell.
